Postcode lottery for glucose monitoring devices to end

Great news from NHS England which has announced that wearable glucose monitors will be made available to tens of thousands more people with type 1 diabetes from April 2019.

The postcode lottery, which meant many Type 1 diabetes patients in Kent and Medway were unable to get access to the life-changing devices on the NHS, will come to an end after an investigation by the British Medical Journal.
